Henry "Allen" Moseley II Scholarship

Background

Lt. Col. Henry A. "Hank" Moseley grew up in Forest Mississippi. In 1974 he came to MSU where he was the manager of the Bulldog football team, serving under Coaches Allyn McKeen and Arthur W. "Slick" Morton. He graduated from MSU in 1951 with a bachelor's degree in business and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force through the ROTC program. Hank entered active duty as a career officer in January 1952, and was retired at the Pentagon as a Lieutenant Colonel in July 1975.


Criteria

1. Must be a full-time student who is a veteran or a military dependent.

2. Must have demonstrated financial need.

3. Must be a resident of Mississippi. First preference shall be given to residents of Forest. Second preference given to residents of Scott County.
